Privacy & Data Handling

We treat financial and personal information as sensitive.

This page explains the principles NUAJU applies to information submitted through the website and during client engagements.

Tax Advisory and Debt Recovery work can involve commercially sensitive, financial and personal information. Our approach is to collect only what is needed, restrict access and use information only for the purpose for which it was provided.

Website enquiries

Information submitted through an enquiry is used to understand and respond to the matter. Please do not send debtor personal data, account numbers, tax records or other sensitive documents through the initial website enquiry.

Secure transfer

Where sensitive documents are required, NUAJU will arrange an appropriate transfer method after the scope of the matter has been discussed.

Access and confidentiality

Client information is intended to be accessible only to people who need it for the relevant work. Confidential information is not shared outside the engagement except where authorised, required for the agreed service or otherwise required by law.

Retention

Information is retained only for as long as required for the engagement, applicable obligations and legitimate record-keeping needs.
